Love all the bells and whistles

I got a hybrid because I wanted to ease the financial load of gas. The MPG is best in class, though at the cost of HP, to the point where it feels kind of sluggy. It takes some time to get used to, but after that it's a smooth ride. The sport mode is very fun. The features are plentiful, and it's a great time learning a new capability. This is my first "big car" purchase, and, coming from a 2010 Corolla, I'm impressed with the technology. Android Auto/Apple Car Play is wired only, and at first it bothered me. But now I see that wired connections never overheat or overcharge your phone, and the connectivity is seamless. My one complaint (which I cannot ignore or settle with) is the USB-A port. Recently, the connection to Android Auto is intermittent. It'll cut off and on repeatedly. I tried using 4 different cables and the issue persists. It's really annoying when navigating, and at worse unsafe as sometimes I have to play with the wire while driving to get it connected again. It's disheartening experiencing this with a brand new car.

Hyundai Elantra 2026

We love the vehicle. We got 600 miles and only $32 in gas. It does sit low which concerns me driving out of parking lots or driveways where there is a dip in the pavement. The front-end touches so I avoid areas I am aware there is a dip. It's low for my 6'1" husband to get down and into the driver's seat and pushing up to get back out. But it's tolerable and all of the safety properties and gas mileage are worth that inconvenience. We have been recommending the vehicle to anyone who is interested.

great so far

For the cost, elantra hybrid limited is an excellent value. Especially when combined with extended/ additional maintenance and the warranty options. Rides nice, excellent gas mileage. Handle thing on center console by the passenger is a bit obnoxious but tolerable.

After 10 years of Hyundais, no longer go-to brand

My new Hyundai is in the repair shop needing a major repair due to issues that "slipped" through quality control at the factory. My family has bought several Hyundai's over the years for a variety of reasons to include benefits other brands don't offer. Now: my military discount was rejected on the car (Hyundai) before this and for this car, no more 3-year/36,000-mile Hyundai Complimentary Maintenance Program, no introductory Bluelink or Sirius. Lastly, in addition to costing more, it is incredibly difficult to find a white hybrid in Texas - ended up settling for a darker color because there were no white ones available in S.A. or nearby. Will be looking at other brands for our next vehicle.

Love this car so much!

I replaced my 2018 Hyundai Elantra with the 2026 Hyundai Elantra Hybrid Limited. There are too many wonderful features to mention, but my favorites are: Gas mileage! I average 52+ Wide range of safety features Driver seat automatic adjustment Heated AND cooled seats Auto dimming headlights I LOVE driving this car. It handles well and is fun to drive.

A pleasure to Drive - but the manuals are a grad-level course!

I enjoy driving the Elantra - we have about 3,000 miles on it mostly from 350 mile round trips. A few all day on the road trips - 7 hours. I'm 5'8" tall and my wife 5'2" tall. Light weight folks. The seats are very comfortable for us. Air quality control is excellent. Mileage on the long trips has been about 53-54 MPG . Around town ( very hilly) the MPG is closer to 45. It is red - they go faster - I have the ticket to prove it! (Actually it is the "blue" model) The manual is thick and to set the options takes a good amount of reading and study - (Yes, I have Ph.D. , but still the manual is a project in itself) No negative comments - all positive.

Mostly great

Vehicle was pretty good. Found some faulty electrical issues (door locks not working), some problems with some of the weather stripping on the door. Took multiple tries to find a wire that worked with carplay.

IDK how they decide what tech to include.

We bought a 2022 Hyundai Tucson in 2022 and it was an SEL gas engine. Some of the features it has (heated seats, wireless Android Auto, cruise distance keeping assistance). When we bought the 2026 Elantra Hybrid Sport, we assumed since it was 4 years after that some of the features would be the same (like wireless Android Auto and the cruise control distance assistance) but they were not.
