Excellent Car for the Most Part

Cruise Control revs RPM high and keeps power low unnecessarily. Lane Assist is not good at all at centering the car in the lane and keeps you swerving across the road.

Not hybrid that all

Consume mucha gasolina ,más que un vehículo normal y no es híbrido del todo al ver cuánto consume. Si recorro 22 millas gasta combustible como si hubiera recorrido 35 o 40 millas,consume el doble de gasolina or distancia en cada viaje . La alerta de considerar tomar un descanso me tiene la vida arruinada y en el dealer quieren justificar y normalizar esas fallas diciendo que es por uso de teléfono cuando claramente no es así y mi tío que ha estado conmigo en el vehículo se ha dado cuenta. El dealer no han querido hacerse responsables y me dicen ven la siguiente semana ,y la siguiente semana me dicen que recargue con gasolina y vaya la próxima ,así ya he ido al rededor de 8 veces. Pésimo

Catalytic Converter failure

Catalytic Converter failed within first month. Issue with conversion from gas to electric within 3 months. Issue taken care of with software update. Otherwise, vehicle is great.

Sleek, Comfortable and Gas Saving!

This car is exactly what is called for in these difficult times of financial uncertainty and riding gas costs. I have cut my gas usage in half after getting this car! And I also felt like I’m helping the environment as well as my pocket!

Limited features are limited!

Bought Limited Elantra and features are no comparison to my 2025 Hyundai Tucson. No garage door openers on the mirror, you need a wire to use Android auto, no overhead camera in reverse, no cameras on side view mirrors when you're changing lanes, just to mention a few of the items I'm lacking. My sales guy told me that if I got the limited edition it would have everything that my Tucson had. Again very disappointed

Blue hybrid Elantra

We are enjoying the car. But not liking the inability to lock doors without a key fob present. Was told by salesman it had the enhanced cruise control and it doesn't. Thought being called a Blue hybrid it would have come with bluelink and it doesn't. Our old 2019 Toyota Prius had all these. So it doesn't amount to much of a upgrade.

great small car value

Overall the car is an outstanding value when considering price, warranty, & economy. The car drives well and is comfortable. The trunk and interior offer good capacity for such a small vehicle. The entry & egress from the car is challenging for all but the most petite persons. The front bar (for stability, I suppose?) between the driver and passenger is awkward at best. The specific car I purchased has one mechanical malfunction that will be addressed under warranty. The car was purchased for a young driver who is thrilled after a few weeks of driving.

Not Drivable On Back Roads

I drive a curvy back road 40 miles to work and I hear the “Consider Taking A Break” chime every 60 seconds. This is the first time I have bought a car and regretted it. This is my third Hyundai, and I will probably never come back to this brand again. I’ve only had it a few months and I’m considering trading it in and lose thousands on negative equity because I hate it so much. Driving anywhere is a freaking nightmare in this car!!!!

This car is horrible

This car is terrible , alarms going off every 15 min. dinging . the seat is so elevated if you are tall it cause server hip pain. if you are a tall woman it will also cause pain in your bladder and ovaries. not to mention the exclusionary hip pain . because of the front of the seat being elevated higher than your hips . you are folded up . this car is so uncomfortable its causing me health problems. I would not suggest any one tall to buy this car. also the radio plays without you turning it on. this car never shuts up. it controls you not you controlling the car. if you have ADHD this car is distracting . I HATE IT!!!!

Elantra review 2026 HEV

Terrible transmission switch from EV in the 1st and 2nd gears causing incredibly high rpm. Lane assist and departure turn off automatically for no reason despite having proper lanes. The cars reaction to throttle is slower than any car I've driven. Seats trap too much heat, the excess use of plastic makes the car look cheaper than it is. There is no space in the side doors to fit anything. No sunglass holders, no space for a spare tyre, just make the experience not as great as it could've been.

Good product, used to be great.

I love Hyundai, it's the perfect product in my opinion with every one I've owned, except this newest one. I purchased the Hyundai blue hybrid elantra because I loved my previous one, the sales associate told me it had all the same features as the other one and it does not, he lied to me saying we were going to have blue link and be able to remote start the car and all that but the vehicle doesn't have those capabilities, next time I purchase a new car, if Hyundai doesn't include blue link into the blue trim, I'm going to back to VW, as a life long fan of both, unfortunately it just doesn't make sense to continue purchasing Hyundai if they are going to include less and less features in their blue trim.
