Not a good selection for a mom

I HATE this car and Hyundai dealerships are awful I will never ever get a car that is Hyundai ever again 30 days after having the car the windshield cracked from a stress crack and Hyundai has refused to replace the windshield among many other issues with the car as well including the features and not comfortable seats and has no cup holder in the back seat area for kids

So far so good

Have been an Elantra owner since 2002. Never had any problems and don't expect any with my 2026. Only issue I have is that it did not come with Sirius XM installed and now have to use it through Android Auto which is a pain. I even asked the salesman if it came with satellite and he advised it did. Who would have thought a brand new Elantra does not come with installed satellite when my 2014 Elantra came with it installed. Just this alone may have killed the deal had I known. Hyundai should do better.

Good car with cool features

Love mostly everything about the car. What I hate: The car play. it is such a hassle to get it to connect. theres way too many steps and sometimes I have to disconnect my phone from the car and reconnect it to get it to work. It's distracting on the road. SHOULD BE a seamless one or two step connect. it infuriates me. Another thing: the lane assist can be a bit jerky, even when I am already perfectly centered. Another thing: I hate how I can not lock the car while it's running. Like if I wanted to leave my dog in the car while I run in the store, it will not allow me to lock the car. But to use the remote key to start it, I have to lock it then immediately start it which is weird too. Like if I wait a second too long I have to "relock" my car again even though it's already locked.
