2023 Tucson experience after brief ownership
I love the exterior lines and grill of this car. The Limited trim has SO many safety features. One large disappointment is it does not have automated fold-in mirrors, nor is this an option. Before I became aware of the Tucson, I researched the Hylander and then seriously considered purchasing the RAV4 Prime, but the car had limited availability in the color and trim packages; leather interior was not an option and the upholstery had red stitching (not a fan). I also looked at the Santa Fe, but the beehive look of the grill and Xs on the leather seats were dealbreakers. I tend to own my cars for a while so the exterior and interior aesthetics are important to me. I haven't owned the Tucson for a long period of time to really know what works or needs improvement for me, but so far I'm happy with my purchase. Certainly, my experience with the College Park Hyundai dealership was an extreme improvement when compared to my experience at DARCARS Toyota where I purchased my 2008 Prius. This was the catalyst that propelled me toward a different dealership and ultimately a different manufacturer altogether.
