2015 Nissan Titan

2015 marks the final year of the 1st generation Titan. This is a huge milestone for a truck who started in 2004 and grew into a formidable warrior in the truck industry without any major upgrades. I was considering the Ram 1500 due to comfort but the burly look of the Titan was calling out to me. I enjoy the large feel of the truck as well as the spaced out interior. Most trucks (even as a crew cab) does not have the leg room like the Titan. I am a disabled military veteran who cannot drive regular cars anymore due to comfort. Trucks are my only option, and a great option it is! Comfort: The S model is a very basic model compared to the upscaled SV or Pro 4x. The interior of the S model is very simple by nature and does not have a lot of features of the other packages. The seats are very comfortable for something very simple. I went from a full power lumbar seat in a Chrysler 200s to a basic seat of the Nissan Titan and from my standpoint, the Titan is way more comfortable even without the power lumbar features. Performance: The Titan has some good torque. It can be felt as you hit the gas and drive away from a stop sign or stop light. The truck does have a bit of side to side roll on bumpy roads but the suspension system does a good job of handling the roads. I live in Tacoma, WA and the roads are loaded with pot holes. The Titan does a great job handling the pot holes throughout the city. Interior design: The interior is very simple by nature and yet it is very bland. There isn't much for color choice for the interior and the dash is very bland in nature. It seems as if the only color offered is gray. Other reviews have stated that the Titan interior is very dated and could use an overhaul. Exterior design: The exterior has a tough truck look to it as it drives down the street. A lifted Titan looks more formidable than any other truck on the road. My particular truck has a sliding rear window which is unique. Not many trucks come with a sliding rear window.
