Brought vehicle in for multiple issues. Not only found and fixed known issues, but found additional major safety issues in braking system fixed and discounted cost. Staff always helpful friendly and experienced
I appreciate you fixing my brakes. Pat well informed us what the problem was, and fixed it the same day. We will be returning customers. Thank you. Norman and Ann Mathewd
I took my car in to have the air conditioner fixed. I left my car at the garage so it could be evaluated. It was determined I needed a new system and unfortunately it was more than I can afford at this time. Even though I did not get my car repaired I was treated with respect and kindness.
When the battery light in my 2007 Toyota Highlander came on I figured it needed a new alternator. I called Kevin at Amwell Automotive and talked to him about it. He said he would research it and call back in an hour with an estimate. He did and I took the car to him that day.
The next day the alternator was replaced with a top quality unit and the battery fully recharged to prevent future problems. The cost was exactly as estimated.
Thank you Kevin for the fine work and reasonable cost. I will be back.
Amwell Auto provides consistent high-quality customer service and maintenance on my 12 year-old car each and every time I bring it in. Consistently overdelivers and the fact they are a local small business makes using Amwell Auto a no-brainer.
Amwell Automotive always exceeds my expectations in caring for my two cars. It's quick and easy to get an appointment and they provide top notch diagnostics and service. Pat is very thorough with communication and is a pleasure to deal with.

I am skilled mechanic and this is only shop I trust to work on my vehicles
I have been taking my vehicles to Amwell Automotive for several years now and I am always pleased with the quality of the work done and the way they treat their customers. I just had them replace a failed alternator on my 150,000 mile Toyota Tundra. This was not an inexpensive repair like it is with some cars because Toyota buried the alternator near the bottom of the 5.7 V8 engine on the left side. A lot of parts needed to be removed just to get to the alternator. I normally do this type of repair myself but am recovering from shoulder surgery. Point being I understand exactly what they had to do and also the potential for lesser mechanics to screw this up by cutting corners to get the vehicle done faster than the labor estimate book allocates for the job. While they were in there, they found a failing idler pulley bearing and replaced that as well. I like knowing that I can trust their judgement in matters like this. Over the years (I am 68) I have dealt with many shops that will drive up the cost by pressuring the customer to replace parts that are not worn out yet. I worked in a foreign car shop that routinely did that at the direction of the owner. I really like that i can trust the folks at Amwell Automotive when they tell me something needs to be replaced that was not part of the original estimate. This is a 100% first class business .
