Pre paid oil change
When I purchased my 2014 Elantra Coupe I also purchased the maintenance plan that included oil changes at the recommended 5000 miles Hyundai recommends. I was informed when I checked in that due to the harsh weather in Wisconsin that it is recommended that I have the oil changed every 3750 miles instead of the 5000 with a synthetic blend they use. My wife previously had a Toyota and it used a synthetic blend and also changed the oil every 5000 miles and had no issues. The service was quick but I was puzzled by the comment to amend the recommended mileage.
