Nissan North American does not say that the stand behind the cars
I had problems with both the passenger and driver side door handle. They both broke within a month of each other. I have never had this problem with any other car while driving down the road, the hood flew up in my face. Fortunately, I was not driving very fast, I was told that I did not properly maintain my hood release. Only after investigation on my part, did I find out that this was a recall.
When I called to inquire, I was not happy with the customer service that I was provided. I asked for the telephone number of the president of Nissan North America. I was told that he did not have a telephone number on a recorded line. I received several surveys, asking me about my experience. At the end of every survey,
I asked to be contacted by the president of Nissan North America or the marketing executive that requested the survey. I never received a telephone call from anyone.
I will never buy a Nissan again.
