1999 Toyota Camry

In terms of reliability and will power to carry on, the Camry is great and will last you a long while. That also means sinking more money into the car to maintain it that way so it's a double edged sword. I have had it for 5 years and the only major issues I've had with think car is an oil leak, water pump/timing belt replacement and 2 replacements/reattachments of the muffler and exhaust pipe.

Camry

Most mechanically reliable vehicle I've ever owned. Note - I've owned one or more vehicles for the past 50 years. Very comfortable to drive for all five passengers. Good gas mileage. Easy to maintain.

300,000 mile car!

My Camry is a tough car. I have had 5 accidents with it and have always been safe. The factory radiator hose lasted 220,000 miles! I had a Toyota Corolla prior and it was an excellent car. I have had very little maintenance to do with my Camry, simple oil changes and low upkeep. I will always have a Toyota.

I bought this car used and was not aware of its issues before purchasing. Other than mechanical problems, I'm pleased. This is my 3rd Toyota and the first with problems. Hopefully, they're solved.

Best car I’ve ever owned

The Camry is the only car I’ve ever purchased new. In the entire 236k + miles we have driven it we have never had to replace or repair any major mechanical or electrical components, ie engine, electronic controls, transmission or drive train.

Best car I've ever owned

My 1990 Toyota Camry is the best car I've ever owned. I've used it on job sites, and when working as a foreman on sites, have transported a LOT of construction materials. It has served me very well on both the job, and when I've used it for personal reasons.

My 1999 Camry still is and has been so good to me

We love our 1999 Toyota Camry so much that when we wanted a 2nd car, we went and bought a 2008 Toyota Camry too. Both of them have never let us down.

1999 Toyota Camry

Purchased new 1999 Toyota Camry in May 1999. Have had 225,000 miles of mostly repair-free service. This is the best vehicle we ever owned, until we purchased a 2016 Toyota Camry earlier this year.

17 years old and still a great car

This is one great auto. I'm not sure they build them as good as this anymore. The list price on this model was $30,000 back in 1999. To get the same features now costs less. Where did they make up the difference?

Excellent

A 1999 vehicle which has been an excellent choice for a retired couple. 87 and 86 yrs old. Hope to keep it running for a while. It has 180,196 miles on the odometer.

1999 Toyota Camry

Purchased new in 1999. The car is still running great after almost 17 years and over 220,000 miles on the odometer. This has been my wife's daily driver to work and our vacation car.
