My grandfather was a customer, my father was a customer and still is, I am a customer, and now my son
is a customer. We have been loyal to DT for years and DT has been good to us.
This visit was just a little off and if you can't trust friends to tell you so - who can you trust. First - I called ahead to discuss tires and we agreed on a tire and a price. The salesperson did not mention the $30 per tire installation fee. I'd have still purchased the tires but it would have been nice if someone mentioned it.
At drop off and pick-up, Doug at the desk was courteous and professional but he seemed to be the only one working. At the 5 hr mark of waiting for my car, I called and was told it was ready. I was expecting a call at 3-4 hours. I dropped it at 8 am and was just getting tires and an oil change. Had I not called, when was someone going to call me?
And lastly, when buying $1300 worth of tires, a shine to the new tires would be a nice touch. Is it critical, no, but does it say "hey, we appreciate your business?" Yes, absolutely. Takes 10 minutes, cost is minimal, and goes a long way in goodwill.
All that said, I'll be back. DT has been my family's tire supplier for decades and generations. And when my 2 year old grandson is ready to bring his car for service, I'll be directing the 5th generation of Glasgows your way.

I needed new tires with quick installation, and they provided several options and were very responsiv
e via email, text, and phone. I took advantage of the opportunity for them to evaluate other items that might need repair, as I knew my Jeep was likely due for other service items. It was all done exceptionally well and with great professionalism on the part of the team. Thanks so much.
