I visited "Toyota Plaza/Auto Body Shop" (2721 Nostrand Ave., Brooklyn, NY 11210) for the third time on October 4, 2023 with the same problem that was repaired today by the "A1 Auto Body Shop Brooklyn" after only one visit.
Three visits for the same problem to the same "Toyota Plaza/Auto Body Shop" within 5 and a half months.
*First visit April 14, 2023 / I paid $2,420.86 for "repairs"
*Second visit August 31, 2023 / I paid $1,620.27 for “repairs.”
*Third visit October 4, 2023. The cost of spare parts only, according to their calculations, was $2333.40.
I refused the third repair and the purchase of spare parts, because I was convinced that they were creating all the problems on purpose in order to rob the money, and the problems will remain unrepaired forever.
Based on my experience, I recommend that all drivers avoid visiting "Toyota Plaza/Auto Body Shop" for car troubleshooting and only visit "A1 Auto Body Shop Brooklyn". and this outfit did exactly that, in the exact time they promised, for the exact amount they quoted.
They took care of everything top to bottom, and were willing and able to procure parts they may need in the process, since I was without vehicle 25 miles away.
I decided to have more work done while they had my truck, at their suggestion. All in all the total price came in about $1600 less than a top shop closer to home.
This company even impressed my sister, and that is no easy task. She said she'd call Martin next time she needs work done on her car.
