Our experience was excellent. As always, the service department gave us detailed information about th
e thorough check-up that our car was receiving. Recommendations were carefully, clearly explained. We are confident that our car is in good hands.
I bit the bullet and was spending nearly $400 to fix a long standing problem with my truck passenger
door (the old 'check link' was shot, so the big heavy door would swing all the way open without stopping - it had already caused damage to the neighboring car in a windy parking lot!) The work was done, I picked up the car and paid and only when I got home did I realize I had some fall car care savings coupons that I could have used! The coupons had come in the mail but the fine print said they had to be used at the time of payment so I assumed Chet's would say "sorry" . . . but they didn't! They said "yeah, come back - we'll figure it out" and I ended up with a $40 + tax refund. They didn't have to accept that coupon after the fact - but they did. That's some kind of integrity that's missing most places nowadays, and the reason they will keep me as a customer. Thanks Chet's, and specifically Matt and Todd!
My family has been taking our 2010 Subaru to Handel’s for several years. Bill is so adept at prioriti
zing repairs, allowing us to keep the car in good working order without having to dump a lot of money in it all at once. Honest and dependable
I have taken my vehicle to this location, and have been very happy, for awhile now. I was disappointe
d to hear this location is closing due to lack of staff. Mike is knowledgable, respectfully communicative, is more than happy to take his time to explain the details of options for repair and friendly in his interactions. I am grateful for their service.
Having a loaner car is a huge deal for me and my family. I'm able to drop off a vehicle, take the loa
ner to work and then pick up my car when I get off work. The techs always do great work and they are very friendly as well as good at explaining what the issue was.
