Took my truck in for service and it was quick and easy. The service staff friendly. They gave me a ride home and then came and picked me up great drivers. I will return.

Too Way to long to get a appointment for oil change and tire rotation
When I called to make an appointment for oil change and tire rotation. I was told that it was a month and a half wait. Disappointed at best for such a simple service.

Professional Service
Brought my Explorer in for AC repair and Kevyn was very professional and kept me informed through the process. Added an oil change when dropping it off and they completed that along with a recall that was out. They are very busy now, took over a month for an appointment to fix the AC, and even being that busy, they treated me as if I was the only customer.

Ford is not taking Ranger transmission issues seriously.
I called a few months ago to bring my 2021 Ford Ranger in to have the transmission checked. The issues relate to inconsistent shifting, notably on hilly roads where I have to slow down for a curve, and then accelerate out of it. The tranny likes to stay in a higher gear and it dogs until I really push the gas more than I would like before it downshifts. This results in a harsh feel, and I have never experienced this on any other car/truck I have driven. When I called, I was told the 10-speed in the Ranger is unique, and what I describe is "normal" for it. I asked if there are any planned updates to the transmission, and he said not at this time. I made the appointment anyway to have Kevin (their only transmission tech?) check it out. My appointment was on 8/18. Kevin was very nice and listened to what I had to say, but reiterated the line that this is normal. I told him at this point, I just want my issue logged with Ford - the more people complain, the sooner they'll come out with an update that will adjust the shift-points. When I picked up the truck, Kevin was not there, but his notes indicate that he could not duplicate the problem (not sure if he tried driving on hills where he had to slow and accelerate out of a curve), and that everything was "normal". This might be typical, but it should hardly be classified as "normal".

Hoping enough people raise this issue with Ford so they decide to push out an update to the transmission, or otherwise allow technicians to tune it manually (or at the very least, set the transmission to re-learn the driving habits of the driver... I'm told by a friend-mechanic that this is possible).

Problem solved
The appointment was honored and the problem was solved. An additional problem was found and communicated to me by phone. This additional problem was taken care of and I received notification that my truck was ready to be picked up.

Unconcerned with service follow through
When I purchased 2 FOBs and a key the service guy said "Sign here so we can begin your work order" and I said before I sign can I see the FOBs, just to make sure they were the same as the original with a door lock, door open, hatchback open, and a hazard button - four button FOB. He seemed irritated that I wouldn't just simply sign and allow them to complete the job. After some deliberation he begrudgingly allowed me to check the FOBs at the parts counter and good thing I did because at the parts counter they said, "Okay here's your FOB and a key". I had to verify that I had purchased 2 FOBs and a key. After that debacle was cleared up I signed the work order.
When the job was completed I wanted to make sure all the buttons worked, he seemed more irritated and said, "If they don't work it's a separate issue". What?
I just wanted to make sure all the FOBs and key worked. After a bit of sparring he followed me to my car and allowed me to check that everything worked as it should. I don't know the guys name but maybe a bit of customer consideration would go a long way when dealing with a potential new customer.
Not happy with the service or the unconcerned/irritated attitude of the service guy.
