Poor workmanship, stole our license tag
We recently brought our 2016 Subaru Forester in to remove & replace the suspension control arm. Immediately after the repair, the car started making an alarming knocking sound. We brought the car back and the shop claimed a bolt needed to be tightened. The sound continued, so we took it back a second time and the shop claimed it was the 'suspension settling in'. We then took the vehicle to a different shop for a second opinion, and they found that the bolt had been overtightened and was broken, which could have been life threatening. We brought our car back to Allen Automotive so they could see the broken bolt; they then did repair work without our authorization. They also are claiming that the broken bolt was not related to their initial repair/the sound...though it began as soon as the repair was done.

When we returned to retrieve the car the front license tag was missing from the vehicle. As in, the screws and tag were completely removed. We have video surveillance of the tag on the vehicle when it arrived at the shop.
