I drove my car to this establishment to see if they could replace a timing chain. They replied, "That is what they do". So I trusted the guy he gives me a quote for $3,350.00 and says, "Give us a few days" After two and a half weeks later they called and said, "My car was ready". Once I arrived the bill was $5,350.00. The said my car has electrical problems so they added a alternator and battery to the bill, but would install those items the next day or later in the week, but assured me the car was good to go. I drove the car less than a mile onto Silas Creek Parkway and all the engine lights started flashing and going crazy and then the car locked up right in the middle of the road. I called the shop and they told me, Do Not Bring The Car Back There, or they would charge me with Trespassing. Finally a motorists stop to help me and we got the car pushed off the side of the road. We open the hood and every single engine wire had been cut and taped back together, and you could smell burnt oil. I had a Compression Test done on the car and come to find out Carolina Auto Service Destroyed my car. The car has "Catastrophic Internal Engine Damage". The shop destroyed my car. I had it towed to a Local Dealership and more diagnostics on the car and they confirmed Carolina Auto Service Destroyed your car. They were paid in full $5,350.00 and the owner/crook Bill said, nothing he was going to do about it. Then I asked him about getting the $1,750.00 back that he charged me for the alternator and battery that was never installed and he would not give me a straight answer on that. Just wanted to talk about how it wasn't the timing chain fault, it was the electrical issues that caused the timing chain to jump and totally destroyed my car then he went and swore out a warrant on me for Communicating Threat.
As of now he is still holding on to that $1,750.00 for the alternator and battery that I paid for but was never installed. Straight Crooks and not one person at the shop knows anything about vehicles, but they know how to steal your money. I hate you think it's alright to destroy not only my car but many many other people's vehicles also. Bud, it ain't alright !!
