"Wonderful customer service."
This is my second time using JM Mechanical and I will be back. The people were great to deal with. As far as I know, the work they performed was done well because my truck is running well and the oil leaks seem to be gone. I was recommended to them and would do the same.

I took our 1967 Galaxie 500 to J M Mechanical with an idle issue. They quickly diagnosed the trouble as an internal issue with the carburetor, rebuilt it and got it running as it should. There was some communication that did not find its way to the technician and I needed to reinstall the automatic choke heat tube (that was in the back seat) when I got home. This is no reflection on the technician, but the office manager is swamped with requests which resulted in the communication lapse. They took great care of the car while they had it, keeping it inside and protected. We are very happy with this latest repair. I perform most of my own work but when I run into a problem that I can't figure out or one that I do not wish to tackle, I take all of my vehicles to J M Mechanical as I have done since 1978.

"Service Industry requires that EVERY day be a Good Day"
I get it that some days are not good days. I do. I get it that people call in sick. I get it. What I don't get is why mechanic at reception desk is telling me to get my husband to listen to the car--I felt talked down to. Was it too much work to explain things to me?

And the office. It's hot. Why is there no air con for customers, but only one tiny machine for the staff? Why does the front office seem chaotic and look dirty? I had two cars in on the same day, and it could have been 100 or 500 dollars--I expect to pay money for my vehicles. However, the customer service was so lacking that I don't know what to say. The woman who works the front office even apologized to me--she admitted that she knew they had "missed the bar". You did get that right.
