Long wait & poor customer service
Arrived at 8 am (scheduled appointment time) and the receptionist, Heidi, was not there. My car was received by a mechanic who wrote my information on a piece of paper because he told me that he didn't have access to the computer. Heidi showed up about 30 minutes later. I was waiting for my oil service (which I normally do) and she began chatting with another customer. At about 9 am (1 hour after my appointment) and after she finished chatting with the other customer, she approached me and told me that it was going to take more time because they forgot to order the oil filter. I was irritated and asked how much longer and she said about 30 more minutes. After 20 minutes or so, she called to ask if she needed to go get the oil filter and was told it was on the way. My car was not finished until 10 am (2 hours!). I went to pay and had to wait 20 minutes as she couldn't figure out how to print a receipt and an estimate for tires and brake pads. I finally asked her to email the receipt and estimate to me so that I could leave.
This is not the Elite Automotive we have been frequenting for years. I understand that there was employee turnover but it should not take 2 hours to get an oil service done. I have also been calling your business since the 28th of December and no one answers. I finally got through today, 1.3.22, to ask questions about the estimate I received. Heidi apparently couldn't remember or be bothered to look up the mechanic notes so she asked me to bring my car in so they could look at it again. My answer was no. Guess I will be looking for a different shop.
