Horrible Experience with Folsom Lake Hyundai
Shop elsewhere This dealership has horrible "service", they seem to have no protocols and blame the other department, sales blames “service” and vice versa, as if they are two different companies.

I purchased a pre-owned Hyundai Tucson at 11:00pm on a Thursday evening. By 5:30pm the next day, Friday, the car was malfunctioning. The radio would not turn off, the volume control did not work, nor did the back -up camera. I called immediately asking to return the car. I was told no, I had driven if off the lot. They offered to come pick up my car and bring me a loaner. Then they had no one to bring the loaner, so I needed to bring the car back to them. Then they didn't have a loaner.
I reminded them about the email they sent earlier that day letting me know how they wanted happy customers. Then they found a loaner.
I dropped off my car, and took the loaner. Five weeks later, and literally only one call from the dealership letting me know what was happening, my car is ready.
I spoke to the service representative on Friday, after I called again to check on my car's status. They told me it was ready. I said I would be tomorrow and was told " see you tomorrow." That was it.
I came Saturday to pick up the car and the keys and paperwork could not be found. It was after 5:00. Oz, sales manager, looked for the keys as they leave them and the paperwork for after hours pick -ups. He calls service and says they said they didn't know I was coming. I let them know that, I said, yesterday. There is no more i can do than communicate that.
Oz mentioned bringing the car back on Monday. I told him I could not come back out. It is an hours drive to that dealership. I have work all day, and a child to see to in the evening. I said I could bring it back Saturday. Oz said they could have someone drop off my car and pick up the loaner, I said fine.
On the 18th of March, I received a call from “service” asking me to bring the loaner back. I told them I could have it there on Saturday if they could not come and get it. I was threatened with a daily fee for use of the loaner. I was told a voicemail was left, there is no voicemail from them. Then the agent says I told you the service hours, he did not.
They are wonderful when they want your money and just absolute crap after they get it. Do not be fooled by the dealer response on these sights saying they want to assist you, they do not.
My brother recently purchased a truck at Car Max. He found issues and they took it back immediately, gave him no trouble about his loaner, and let him choose something else off the lot. I sole my car to them and had a good experience. It is where i will shop in the future. Do yourself a favor and seek your car from another dealership. This one will provide unreliable cars and truly awful service thereafter.
