Terrible First Service Department Experience
I had my first visit to the Service Department at Freeman Hyundai on 6/8/23 for my first oil change. I also had an issue with my rear passenger seatbelt, it was stuck. The service manager refused to cover it (repair) under the warranty because it wasn't a manufacturer defect! In my opinion it most certainly was! I've never had a seatbelt on any car I've owned get stuck and twisted so easily, that's not normal and no one was messing with it except to try to get it undone, and we couldn't.
I'm so disappointed with my first appointment to your service department, not a good first impression at al! The service advisor Carina was great though, it wasn't her fault and she only charged for half an hour labor. $125!
I'm so upset, I spend approximately $40k on a car with an extended warrant and to be charged for something so minor which again like I said is not a normal occurrence, it appears to me that it most certainly is a defect. It is UNFAIR!
Freeman Hyundai Service Department has left a bad taste in my mouth, so to speak, no common courtesy . Again, I'm SO disappointed!
I wrote to them, no response and I spoke to main Hyundai, they didn't do anything either! Boo
