5:30pm We called ahead and reserved a time to check out Genesis, for the first time.
6:00pm Upon arrival, we checked in and let them know the 3 models of interest (3 is important here). Waited too long for the salesman to bring the first vehicle, only to come back empty handed.
6:30pm He then asked us to walk to the car, which he could not remove because it was wedged between other cars for which he didn’t have keys. We asked about the other models of interest but he said they were parked in lot 15 min away and he couldn’t show them.
The manager actually greeted us upon arrival, apparently unaware that there were no cars available to show, and then had no answer for why we wasted our time when we could easily have been notified at multiple steps along the way that there were no vehicles for test drives.
We went to North Plainfield instead for a much better experience all around. Please spare yourself the trip to this disorganized mess and find a better dealer because the cars are actually really nice and well made (once you have the opportunity to actually drive one.)
