Entire service department lies! So on 9/18/2020, I put a deposit on a BRAND NEW Genesis, On Monday at pickup, Salesman tells us, we owe you a 2nd key. (I called Genesis, they stated as a new owner you get 2 keys, shouldn’t have left without 2) You can come Friday and they will take care of it. We show up 9am, sit in showroom around 3 hrs; my husband asks for a loaner to get lunch. They come tell us guy with scanner tool is off and it’s locked in his tool box; they can’t program the key, we will keep it all weekend until Monday. We took loaner, got lunch, I was so fuming an hour later we went back, got car and the unprogrammed fob and headed to Genesis of Lafayette for programming. Later got a call from the Service Manager, Jason. He stated scanner was having issues and they were on phone with engineering trying to get it to work. So 2 different stories, I don’t know what was true, now I don’t care. Service Manager at Lafayette repeatedly aplologized for their mistakes, not the Genesis way, got it programmed and I was on my way. I would not recommend Terry Lee or their service dept. by any means.
