Great Service

Check Engine Light
I was having trouble with my Check Engine Light coming on. Got different answers as to what the trouble was. Took it to one shop who found the problem, but said they couldn't fix it, referred me to the dealer. As a AAA member I called Golden Rule, took it in. They ran a diagnostics test, found the problem and fixed it. And it was something so simple as a loose connection on a hose. Boom, fixed. My car is finally running like it should. I am a happy camper! The employees are friendly and helpful, and I even enjoyed talking to other customers while waiting. Will definitely be returning

Awesome Customer Service
The administrative staff and service professionals were very patient and understanding. They waited for my insurance company to finally authorize repairs to my car when the at fault insurance denied my claim. I was without my car for 2 months waiting for the other drivers insurance to do the right thing and then spoke with my insurance company who paid the claim and my car was finished in less than 2 days. Excellent service and customer service.

No charge for labor on valve cover gasket set replacement
Took my 08 Ford Escape in for 165,000 major check-up. I had a oil leak around the valve cover gasket I had been ignoring for a year which Golden Rule had diligently reported on each previous service invoice. In performing all the various maintenance inspections and services for this check-up, they replaced the valve cover gaskets although not on the manufacturer's mileage service schedule. This was done WITHOUT CHARGING LABOR for this action because it was cheaper to do it now with another required maintenance activity than to wait and do it later when the leak became more severe. This kind of proactive service to save me money is the reason I keep both of my vehicles running using Golden Rule. They are a class act in the automotive repair and maintenance field.
