They initially advised me that I had to pay a $150 diagnostic fee before anything, although I advised them what the problem was. A mechanic phoned me a few weeks later saying the check engine light was on but they weren’t sure why. I then questioned them not knowing due to the diagnostic check that I paid for. The owners phoned me the next day stating that I never paid for a diagnostic check but only a standard which is in the paperwork I signed and that they ran a diagnostic check and found that I need a control module and that I need to come and get my car. When I attempted to explain the telephone exchange with the mechanic he advised me he’s not going to argue with me and that I need to come get my car although I wasn’t argue. They’re rude, unprofessional, and charged over $1500 to repair a car that may not be worth repairing due to the part that needs to NOW be replaced. May consider small claims court.
