I feel like my second to last visit at Lewis Complete Auto Care was a typical car mechanic story where I wanted one thing fixed and they found other things to fix. The original problem was a gas tank needed replacement. They said my engine felt like it was "missing" so they talked me into replacing plugs and wires. I knew the plugs and wires were old and needed replacement, but after the service the engine is running notably more rough. This last visit was due to a main seal oil leak which they said they fixed. I am giving them the benefit of the doubt as residual oil may be present, but I found new oil stains on my driveway today. And they didn't address the engine light. It is still on. I don't have time to keep dropping my vehicle off for repairs, so this is frustrating. When I went to pick up the truck, one of the mechanics had taken my key home with him, they were nice about it and I waited until another mechanic retrieved the key.

We take pride in our work and we never want to be that "typical" automotive repair shop. Please call us and we can double check all of our work and see if we can address the check engine light being on. It may have been and issue where the codes were simply not cleared from the previous work completed.
