Reliable vehicle

Low maintenance easy to handle good work truck easy on gas full size truck with knob /switch on the dashboard 4x4 long bed for large loads also four doors… don’t have a rear camera but comes with electrical side mirrors hydraulic power steering etc…

Frames Rust out

GM truck frames rust out to the point they will not pass inspection. I don’t like the seatbelt dinger The floor carpet is cheap. The seat in my '07 was much better. I used to be able to put my left had down so I did not have to scrub over the edge of the seat getting out of the truck. That feature is not there in the '15

I love these trucks

But what can you say about these trucks that the frame on them rots out from under them! My gorgeous ‘07 LTZ with 107,000 miles on it and I might add extremely well cared for would not pass it’s NYS inspection because its frame was rotted out! A beautiful $55,000 truck rotted out to be junked. Just not right.

2015 Chevy Silverado 1500 LTZ

Owned this vehicle for about a month now. My 1st full-sized, extended cab, 4x4 truck. Comfortable ride for a truck. Mileage was higher than average, but Carfax report indicated vehicle was well maintained, so that gave me some peace of mind. So far, I am pleased with all the bell & whistle options, especially the navigation system. Certainly more features than I was looking for, but these are a plus++.

Couldn't ask for a better truck

I wish I would have gotten the ltz crew cab. I also wish I wouldn't have to get aftermarket parts to make the v-8 stay a v-8

8 years with my truck.

Purchased my Silverado new. Use it for transportation and vacations. Strong and powerful 4x4. Have over 100,000 miles of excellent service. Take it to the Rocky Mountains every year in all road conditions from rocks to mud to deep snow, no problems. A very comfortable and safe vehicle.

Great Truck

I love this truck. I wish major parts lasted longer. I expect better out of GM - I should not have major issues until after 100,000 miles at the least A/C failed at 76,000 miles Starter failed at 88,000 miles Engine lifters failed and threw a rod at 96,000 miles

2015 don’t buy it

To start I have owned about 10 Chevrolet vehicles. Old and new. I bought a 2015 excited to have this nes style truck. At first little things went bad, Battery, thermostat the usual maintenance items. Then the radiator, then transmission at 100k warranty wouldn’t cover. Since the water pump, there is also a defect in the rear breaks I found out. Had to change breaks and rotors twice in one year. Now I have multiple sensors going on and mechanics can’t figure out what’s going on. I had 40 repairs registered from the sensors at one time. DONT BUY THIS TRUCK. I had better luck with my 4 Ford F-150s….

Great half ton pickup

Had this truck six years. No major issues. May keep it for fifteen more years or longer. Have used the vehicle through the US. Often pull a small U-Haul or flat utility trailer. Want to pull an Ultra-Lite travel trailer, but so far can not install OEM brake controller. Not impressed with the appearance of an aftermarket controller screwed onto the dashboard.

The shaft of the drivetrain is bending to the left

I blew a tranny in south Florida and Chevy pretends like they don’t know me now. My shaft is bent to the left and I feel much vibration in my bottom I need at least 200 characters for this response so this is my filllllllllller

Great truck

Outstanding vehicle. A workhorse as I use my truck in many different variations. The 4wd feature is key providing the traction and power required to get me around the farms that I hunt. Interior comfort is also outstanding with easy to reach features at any given moment.

Crew is knowledgeable and effective in keeping my vehicle in top shape . Some manufacturers defects noted after warranty dealer service shop needs to be proactive with recall and defect notices touch screen is sensitive and make changes on every bump

2015 Silverado 1500

Everything about this vehicle has been satisfying except the paint quality. I have chips on the passenger doors, chips on the top, chips on the hood, and chips on the cab next to the windshield. The chips started as small insignificant rock chips but have turned into very large spots of missing paint. Not only is this non appealing to the eye but my truck value has gone down because of this. I know that Chevrolet had a recall but they only warranty the paint if it rusts through the metal. I am not very satisfied with it from that perspective.

Great truck

My 02 Silverado had 280000 miles when I traded it in and if this Silverado comes close to that I'll be more than happy. Silverado 4x4s have always been a great truck for work and pleasure. If you don't believe me drive one and see.

Solid and Dependable

This is the second Silverado 1500 that I have owned. The first one I gave to my son after 293,000 miles plus! It is both a solid and dependable vehicle! Whether I take it to the field or take it to church, it is rugged and comfortable!

I love my truck!!!

Some may say I have too much love for my truck but it's been my dream vehicle and I appreciate having her and just try to take care of her as such! Everywhere I go I get tools I have a bad ass truck or in so many words, when I see my truck I literally say "You are one sexy ass truck!" Yeah I can't help it! I'm grateful to one my truck.
