Great truck!

This truck is just a good, solid vehicle. She gets several hundred miles per week put on her and frequently has to pull a 4000 lbs. trailer. I keep about 500 lbs. of tools on her. She’s just a great truck!

1500 Silverado

224,000 mile & still performing. Solid build. Great power train. Center console locking mechanism failed and plastic around the console broke up. The paint job didn’t last. It needs redone in a major way. It still does what I need it to do. Great buy 20 years ago!

Reliable and Repairable

It’s a good tool. Not expensive to operate. Repairs are infrequent and parts are readily available and affordable. Exterior styling is good. The interior has held up over years. Maintenance intervals seem less frequent than some of the newer models. No repair item that is required time and again due to a bad design.

Maintainable Practical Truck

It drives and handles well. has just enough ground clearance and yet a good bed height for loading and unloading. Ours averages 19.1 miles per gallon. My 2017 with all the improved technology gets 19.3. As with all older American cars, as they age one has to watch the plastic parts which include the radiator, heater core line connectors, door handles and tailgate handle. All readily available for a fair price.

I have had my truck since 2001 it runs great and Auto Clinic has helped me keep it running like new of course things come up that need maintenance but it is up to you the owner to stay on top of those things. Your vehicle can last a very long time if you treat it with care

Very Dependable.

I have owned this vehicle since 2004. It has been very dependable over the years. Minimal maintenance with only routine maintenance such as battery replacement, brakes and discs, etc. With 177,000 miles it still runs great.

401,000 and still rolling!

From 2000 to 2003 Chevy engineering stepped up their game. Both my 01 Tahoe and K2500 have over 400k miles and are every day drivers. I have yet to see other year models achieve the same. Apparently they fired those engineers.

A long lasting Truck !

I have always driven Chevy trucks. My current one is an 01 Chevy Silverado which is 18 years old and besides routine maintenance which I stay on top of and I bought the truck brand new I have never had a problem with it leaving me on the side of the road. People are amazed on how well it runs . I couldn’t have made a better choice. And my next one will be a Chevy Silverado also.

Still ticking

Never have we paid so much for new vehicles never have we gotten so much his truck is 18 years old and still going I have taken care of it over the years and then as taking care of me now being over 18 years old it just says how good Chevy trucks are this being a Chevy Silverado 4 wheel drive never had a problem with the 4 wheel drive never had a problem with so so many thanks I just keep driving it and it looks great being in the northeast I'm very happy to say I don't have the rest problems that I see others have in other vehicles I don't know that Chevy or just me

2001 Chevrolet Silverado Z71 4WD standard cab

I love this truck! So far it’s given me 217,600 miles of dependability and fun. Had to replace the tranny 5 or 6 years ago but that’s it in terms of issues. I’m passing it on to my son who needs a truck. I live in southern Nevada and the truck has never been garaged. So . . . the paint on the hood and top of the cab is pretty much faded to dull. Other than that the paint is still good. The truck has off-roading miles and never let me down.

01 Silverado 1500 z71

Been a reasonably good truck. So far no major problems. As it's aged some things have needed replaced due to wear. Normal maintenance is required for reliable service of course. We tow a 25ft camper. Rust unfortunately can be an issue. Overall a good vehicle.

I had a 1982 el camino for 22 years until I got in a wreck. then I bought this Silverado. it has been a great vehicle. I probably have this until I die unless I get another elk. chevys are great
