If only I knew!
Purchased my Chevy over 5 years ago with only 43,000 miles on it. It held up good until about a year ago when I had to start replacing key parts. After adding another 100,000 miles was when I had to replace the whole entire transmission, A/C coil, both sides of the front wheel assembly, and finding a short unit that which I’ve been told by multiple shops that that transmission is no longer made and I’d be lucky to find one. Luckily I was but at an expense that was more than double most other replacements for other vehicles! Transmission total labor included was $8,500.00!!!! All the other work cam out to $4,500!!!! $13,000 to fix. That is the exactly what I is still owe on the truck itself. Will I ever get back what I put in, that’s a big NO!!!!! Also had to trouble shoot a ground wire that was causing it to completely shut down the truck while I was driving !!! Thank God for the internet. Finding out this model is notorious for a specific ground wire to cause the short!!! Doing the maintenance the whole time I’ve had it then all at once the big breakdown!!! Other than that I was happy with it until the gremlins came out!
