I took an older van here after hearing good reviews of this place. My van was slow to start and sometimes wouldn’t start at all. I was told it would be a $500 fix. I paid him for the work and got my van back to find it still slow to start. I took my van back in and was told I needed another $500 in repairs - this time to replace the alternator. I asked why, if it was doing the exact same thing before, his previous repairs hadn’t fixed the problem. He said both things were wrong with my van. I couldn’t afford another $500 so I walked and rode a bus for months. When I had enough money to pay for the repairs, my van wouldn’t start, not even with a jump start. I removed the battery, which was less than a year old, and walked it over to the auto parts store I had purchased it from and asked them to charge it. They said my battery was faulty and couldn’t hold a charge. They replaced my battery for free. After that, my van was fixed. This shop took $500 from me and was prepared to take another $500 when the only repair my van needed was to have the battery replaced!
