I bought a 2019 Hyundai Kona SE from this dealership, and after just 14 months, the car suffered a major engine failure. I was told the repair would cost around $8,000 and that it would not be covered under warranty because the vehicle had exceeded 100,000 miles. When I tried to follow up using the phone number they provided, it was invalid, and my text messages went unanswered.
I then called the number listed on their website and scheduled an appointment. When I arrived, the staff member who greeted me seemed completely unsurprised by the situation. Despite having an appointment, I was left waiting for about 30 minutes, and the representative I had spoken with earlier that same day initially couldn’t even recall our conversation.
Hoping for some kind of resolution, I asked about selling the car back to them. After speaking with a manager, I was offered just $500 for the vehicle, which felt completely unreasonable given the circumstances.
Overall, I felt dismissed, unsupported, and taken advantage of throughout this entire process. I would especially encourage other young women and first-time buyers to be cautious when dealing with this dealership. Based on my experience, customer care and accountability are seriously lacking
