I would not trust anything they say is wrong with your vehicle without asking to see it yourself.
I needed an oil change and a compression test to locate a coolant leak. Dropped it off in the morning and got a call 5 hours later informing me my radiator had a crack in it and needed to be replaced along with the hoses leading to it. I was quoted ~$670 to replace, I denied the service because I knew I could get it done cheaper elsewhere. When picking up my car I asked to put it back up on their lift to show me where the leak was and they did not show me a crack...instead, a leak on the hose connection leading to the coolant reservoir. Bought a new hose crimp for a few bucks, installed it, and haven’t leaked a drop of coolant since.
