I had the worst customer service experience today (6-14-19) at Big O Tires in Liberty, MO! Yesterday I called and was given an 11 am appointment for today to have a nail removed, tire fixed under tire protection plan. Purchased 4 Michelins for my Lexus in September 2018 for close to $1,000. This is my second set, first ones when it was NTB. I was there at 11, my car was not taken back into the garage until I complained at 11:45 am. By 12:30 pm I was asking what was the hold up. The salesman John was very rude. He said tire repairs under warranty were low priority because there was no money in it for them. He said someone made an error giving me an appointment because tire repair was just show up and wait. He then made an excuse that the man who does tire repair was ill and so they were behind and could not ask others to do it because they were working on paid jobs. Then he checked and said my tire could not be repaired so they would need to order me another and I would be charged $20 for mount and balance and $20 for the new protection plan on the tire, that I should come back tomorrow after 1 pm and they should have a tire for me. I guess once you get a customer's money for 4 new tires then servicing them no longer matters. I was never treated so poorly when it was NTB. I am very disapointed with Big O Tires and I doubt will be buying my third set there next time and definitely posting a very unfavorable review about the way I was treated so terribly today.
