BUYERS BEWARE
Group 1 Hyundai Southwest Houston sold me a 2023 Hyundai Kona, sold me Platinum coverage, and never plainly disclosed that the battery warranty had already expired, or that the additional coverage excluded the battery.

Six (6) months later, the battery failed completely. Their inspection paperwork says it was "check and ok," yet they could not and would not produce the actual test results supporting that claim. No voltage. No battery health percentage. No diagnostic. Nothing.

Then, despite selling the car, selling the xtra coverage, and relying on the supposed inspection, they refused to contribute toward the battery itself, even though I DID NOT buy the car "AS IS." I paid for the replacement elsewhere.

So, buyers, demand the diagnostics. Read every exclusion. Get every representation in writing. Because here, "check and ok" became "not covered and not our problem."
