On 1/7/2026, I returned to the shop because the wheel speed sensor had failed. This vehicle is my only means of transportation, so I had no choice but to pay for the repair out of pocket. The shop charged me $269.60 for the replacement of the wheel speed sensor.
Given the timing and the nature of the repairs performed in November, I believe the sensor failure was likely caused or contributed to by the previous work done on the alignment and camber bolts. Wheel speed sensor wiring is routed near the suspension components that were adjusted, and damage can occur if the wiring is stretched, pinched, or not properly secured during alignment work. Because I raised this concern and it was dismissed, I feel I was not treated fairly or professionally rather dismissed and zero accountability. I paid for the wheel speed sensor replacement, as I believe the failure was connected to the earlier service and should have been addressed by the shop at no additional cost.
