This vehicle was towed into our shop . the right front axle had snapped off as well as the lower ball joint. I paid my office staff to check the vehicle in and create the repair order. I paid my technician to jack the car up put it on jack stands and inspect the damage in our parking lot instead of a nice lift .I myself spent a half an hour writing the quote and talking to the owner about the necessary repairs. Apparently he had it towed into my shop for no reason at all and expects everybody to work for free!
The oil change and fluids check was as usual.
The whine is caused by a aged power steering pump. That pump has spewed fluid and is jeopardizing the timing belt and exposed hoses. I received a very detailed repair estimate within 24 hours. Being on fixed income, I had to balance the cost against the value of my (old, but still reliable) car. Based on the cost of parts, the labor costs are very much within reason. I have made an appointment with Carcraft to proceed with the work. Based on their history of performance with me and my vehicle, I have the utmost confidence that the repairs will be done in a timely and professional manner.
From the owner , to the office management ,and the vehicle technician, they have it covered.

Thank you Ron for the great review . It was a pleasure to repair your BMW. They are one of the more difficult vehicles to diagnose .
