GREAT van
If you're up north, I highly recommend the AWD model. I, tragically, do not have that, which makes things difficult sometimes. But some sand bags in the back should really help. Beautiful and amazingly functional, but if the engine light comes on and it starts getting sluggish uphill, do service it as soon as you can. There are a few things that could cause this, I forget what all of them are, but basically it means your fifth cylinder is misfiring. Not sure if it's the same when a different cylinder misfires. But overall, that is the ONLY major problem this van has given us. You've likely heard about the power door locks, window motors (If equipped), and door handles going out. Unfortunately, this IS true, but the door handles are fairly easy to fix, at least. The seats are easy to remove until a good few years of use, then the plastic pieces on the back hinges break and it gets to be greatly unpleasant and becomes a two-person job. Still doable, though. Overall, great van. I can always trust that it will start in the morning and won't leave me stranded. It always pulls through, but speed is... well, if you wanted speed, you wouldn't be considering purchasing a van with the aerodynamics of a brick. Good horsepower when maintained, though. We've had some electrical issues here and there, but I can't really factor that into this review due to the fact that we bought the van used in 2020 and the "KARR" security system was installed... rather poorly. Bear in mind when I review things like comfort that I have the base model.
