Once a upon a time.

Start worry now about Charging Network ( compare with Tesla ), software update to keep H/W in good shape. ReGen is randomly kick in, dangerous. Rang is very poor ( said 303 ). Only meant for local / commuter car. + Worry about Battery life.

Pretty much the perfect car

Fast, looks good, basically free to operate, roomy, and quiet... Zero problems. What could be better? The color is both unusual and nice. We have solar, do the electrons are free. I love my Porsche, but this is legitimately the best car I have ever owned.

Roomy Car with High Range

We have put 25,000 miles on this car in one year and it has saved us thousands in gas money. This is a great, affordable electric vehicle with lots of interior room for people and stuff. You can fold the seats flat to be able to haul stuff from IKEA or your bike.

Probably the best vehicle on road even in 2023. It’s performance, looks, aesthetics all are outstanding. I love it’s capability of charging to 80% level within max 18 minutes from a commercial DC charger

changing from gasoline vehicle to electric vehicle require lots of learning . this is a great vehicle for senior to have and drive, it made us a better driver with the vehicle assisting driving equipment .

I Love my 2022 -23 Ioniq 5 Both of them !! 2022Radio sound sucks !!

I love my first ever EV's The Ioniq 5 is a good value in the EV market, but get the limited. Tommy Chiarenza who owns RTE 60 Hyundai here in Vero Beach FL. is the most honest and fair car man I have ever met. A special thanks to TOM KIM of Hyundai North America.

Love the car, hate no wiper on rear window

I love my Ioniq 5 in every way except when it is raining. Having no rear window wiper makes it nearly impossible to see out the rear when it’s raining. I find this dangerous and something Hyundai should have addressed in the design.

Fun car with solid performance

The electric drive provides quick acceleration. The high voltage charging is very quick and it takes about 17 minutes to get 80% charge. Everything feels solid. The shooting star paint glistens in the sun

Catastrophic Failure After 10 Months

The ICCU unit (the part that charges the 12V battery from the main battery bank) failed and that crippled the car from going over 20 MPH. I had to have it towed to a dealership and it's been sitting in their lot for over 2 months with no progress because this part has failed so many times there's an indefinite backorder on them. When it works, it's a good car. But when it doesn't, it's an expensive waste of money.

CAR IS FUN

I enjoy my Ioniq5 Limited but worry for the day that it has issues because there are no dealer knowledgeable for this model. They had to order a tire!! When one purchases a $65000 car, one expects some degree of support. This does not exist. I will be moving on to a brand with dependable service resources. It takes 3 hours for tire rotation. Electrify America is just north of useless since their network is so small. If you are considering a EV, Tesla Y is the only choice right now, and they are less expensive.

GREAT CAR

When one spends $65,000 for a small car, one has a certain expectation of service and support. Hyundai has neither. The car is fun, the service experience is miserable. I expect I will go back to Mercedes who probably will have a hybrid in another year. The electrify america is nearly useless since there are so few of them. Tesla Y, for the exact same money, is far superior.

Best car I've driven in my 55 years of driving

The Ioniq 5 is the best car, overall, I've owned in my 55 years of driving. The engineering and design are both solid and innovative, and the car is a real pleasure to drive. It's very fast-charging (18 minutes from 20% to 80%, 30 minutes to 100%), and the range is impressive. On a 4,000+-mile round trip from the New York City area to Albuquerque this past spring, we averaged about 230 miles per charge. The Electrify America charging made the trip extremely economical. The only negative is the lack of a rear wiper and washer, which seriously diminishes driver visibility in inclement weather.

Don't buy Hyundai

I recently purchased a 2022 ioniq 5 all electric vehicle. I would never recommend that anyone buy Hyundai cars . I don't have enough space to explain my nightmare Hyundai purchase. So I will start with customer service support stating that we have no control over the Hyundai dealers and if they don't want to repair your Hyundai vehicle, then you are out of luck . WOW . My first week in my new ioniq 5 was interesting as well. I headed to DD for morning coffee, but my Hyundai locked up and the would not start. The display panel stated that I had a main battery and propulsion problem . I called customer service and they said not to drive the car . HaHa lmao. This is just a fraction of the problems I have had with my new Hyundai. A $50,000.00 lawn ornament. So I would not recommend buying a Hyundai .

Great EV

We did extensive research online on youtube including users experiences in all kinds of weather. The Ioniq5 was hands down the favorite. We have owned it 11,000 miles and loved every minute. We get 370 miles / charge in the summer. 250 in the winter. It works well for us.

Love this car! Zoomy, easy, and fun.

Amazing thought, appearance, and value. There are little things we wish for ( rear windshield wiper, battery conditioner, cooled seats), but this car has been reliable, cost effective, fun, exhilarating, and just the go to for 36000 miles in one year. No issues, not a one, did not break, wear, or even have to replace a thing. ( except wiper fluid.. you will use alot of that..lol)

Ioniq 5 car is very roomy, comfortable and high-quality inside, and its appearance is good, but in terms of technology, it is a little behind similar cars.Because of my job, I have trip a lot with people and I want to say that 100% of all of them are satisfied with the ride and 90% of those who intend to buy an electric car have changed their minds and show the desire to buy this car. + It's a good vehicle over all + Comfortable rode - Soundy when it comes - range keeps fluctuate - the back keeps getting noiser - bad integration - no wireless android auto and apple carplay - need more tech - low ground clearance

Great car with problems

Love the looks and how it drives but have had problems with charging, noise from steering wheel, and other smaller things that have soured my experience. A lot of people are reporting ICCU problems, which is what worries me the most.

Great way to experience electric car

Great vehicle and if you want to give electric cars a try you will love this one. Drives so well, quick, lots of space on the inside. Great option for daily driver especially in cities. Driving range is plenty in town but long distance still is an issue at times. Overall very happy with this first electric car I have owned.

Good car but no wireless CarPlay

Every car made in 2022 had wireless CarPlay except for Hyundai. The lumbar support deflates over time. There’s an issue with a potential ICCU failure. Battery precondition doesn’t work below 20%, making it rather useless when we need it most. Otherwise this is a good car.
