Lemon or needs better Quality Inspection
1. ICCU failed charging on low tier chargers followed by tier 3 on the 11th month. Dealership keeps on updating but did not resolve the issue.
2. Rattling at the hatchback. Part of the recall that the dealership won't fix if you don't complain about it. I didn't complain but they should have fixed it.
3. 2 pieces of carpet like cloth at the back of second row seat cheaply glued fell off during hot summer days.
4. Front and back sensors will be intermittently beeping when the space between vehicles were far enough and should not trigger it.
5. Vehicle alert will not sense a vehicle changing lanes when the other vehicle is moving sideways.
6. This model needs a better suspension.
7. Gaps in between the body. Not properly aligned.
8. I am not sure if it was a dealership issue or Hyundai company issue, the ICCU problem made me regret it. But the interior is nice. I am a big fan of South Korean products like phones and appliances, but this ICCU issue needs a better customer relations. The charging cable I purchased was only used to troubleshoot the problem. Attempt to provide a free adapter for fast charging is most welcome but I prefer to charge where I am working using low tier chargers. Therefore, my charging cable is useless.
