Love the car, but would suggest paying extra for the rear window wiper....and the rest of the package that it comes with.

Love My Ioniq 5

I love my Ioniq 5 - its quiet, roomy, FAST, almost zero maintenance and a joy to drive. I do wish it would stay in i-Pedal once I put it in that mode - that my main complaint (not a biggie, but annoying).

Pretty good

The car has been good in most respects, but the lack of a rear wiper, and several recall notices related to the CCIS have dampened my enthusiasm. Also, there are just TOO MANY adjustments and readings to keep track of - should be more emphasis on basics, not electronic frills.

We Love our Ioniq5

My wife and I weren't sure about purchasing an EV, but we went ahead with the Ioniq5. We love the driving, acceleration, accessories, etc. We typically drive less than 30 miles a day, so we only need to charge once every 10 days. Love the low cost of keeping the car up and working.

Overall the car is great. Wish you did t have to take so many steps to heat the seat and steering wheel. Also wish I could do it remotely. CarPlay is unreliable using Bluetooth.

Great car to drive. But: * Absolutely inexcusable electrical problems. * Door locks are bizarre. When we leave the car, we can never figure out which doors will lock and which won't. * What the heck is that yellow light on the dashboard?

Great safe car

I’ve owned my Ioniq for a year now and it’s been amazing. I love how roomy it is, the large screen, but not too large, and the dials and buttons as well. The features are easy to use. The handling is great and the fact that I don’t need to do oil changes or get gas is a major selling point.

A great car, held back by some quality issues.

This is the favorite of thirteen cars I've owned through the years, however it is not without its issues. The USB chargers in the back seat stopped working about a month into owning the car and no one has been able to fix them. I have gone through 2 12v batteries in 2 years of ownership, both times when the batteries died it was without any warning and left me stranded (the most recent failure occurred just weeks after the car received maintenance at the dealership). One of the cargo hooks in the back "disappeared" (I don't use them, so no idea how it popped out and vanished). Despite these frustrations, I love the features, the power, the charge time, and the comfort of this vehicle.

drunk rattle equals one star

I love this car, but the continuous rattling from the trunk is super irritating. I’ve had it fixed at the dealership twice, with no solution.
