Love this car!

The Ioniq5 is our first EV and we absolutely love it. It feels luxurious to drive and is so smoothe and quiet. Of particular note is the really roomy back seats, which actually recline. Honestly, the exterior design is a little boxy for my taste, but all the other qualities far outweigh that minor point. Strongly recommend!

Attractive nice car

Based on positive experience with our 2005 Sonata we decided to give Hyundai a try and the Ionic 5 was more attractive than the other E V's we looked at. It is a very nice car. By the way, some of the questions we had to answer in this survey are irrelevant. Oil change? Haha What oil change!

This car is amazing!!

I can’t say enough about about how much I love this car! For an Electric vehicle it is built really solidly. It feels like a regular car. The car has super acceleration. It blew my expectations. I would totally recommend this car to anyone and I have!

EV/safe/fast

Watched u- tube to make comparisons on all EV car on the market. Considered tesla but husband wanted ionic 5 or Kia car ev6? Considered even an American car the new Blazers. No one had any EV cars in stalk. So we stopped by Hyundai dealership to make sure our name was still on the list. So happy when Michael called us.

So much fun to drive! It has great pick up and speed. Easy to maneuver. Can park itself or pull itself out of tight parking spaces so I no longer need to climb through the back lift gate when in this situation.

Excellent car!

Great performance, easy to use interface, roomy interior, and great styling. I’m very pleased with this vehicle. There was the expense of installing a home charger (not required but much more convenient), but I think it was worth it.

Ioniq 5

This is a very nice car to drive. It's quiet, responsive and very comfortable. So far, the range has not been an issue nor has finding a charging station. It looks great and handles very nicely. With a public charger you can be up to 90% inside of a half hour starting at about 35%.

Best car I've ever owned

Combines pep, efficiency, comfort, and room. Only nitpick so far is that you can't use iPhone as a digital key (but you can use Android). Oh, and Hyundai's customer satisfaction survey asks whether I would use the dealer for oil changes - for an EV! Yeesh.

My new Ioniq 5 absolutely meets or exceeds my expectations.

I have 5 years of experience driving EVs and my family currently owns a Honda Clarity PHEV, Kia Niro EV and the new Ioniq 5. When shopping for a new car, we compared Ioniq 5 to Kia EV6 and Kia Niro EV. Also considered the Mustang (inadequate cargo/storage), VW (difficult-to-use infotainment) and Tesla 3 (not even close to ride quality of Ioniq 5). The Kia Niro is in a different class and becoming obsolete. The EV6 is a fine car but the Ioniq 5 "feels" bigger and less gimmicky, somewhat better user experience, and smoother, softer yet still "sporty" ride quality.

Great vehicle

Overall great car. Great looks room feel are perfect. I would prefer about another 100 miles of range and a few technical changes that could be easily fixed with over the air updates. Those are fairly minor by comparison to the things i like about the vehicle and I hope to test out more this summer when we start taking this thing camping. Which I may want to add a trailer hitch to it and see how well it handles towing.

great car. no bugaboos yet. love it

for a family of tall folks, who like to haul things and occasionally race, it's fantastic. would like the ride to be a bit more firm, or adjustable though. the turning radius is long too. quality is right at the top, comfortable, cool bells and whistles, styling is polarizing, but beautiful to me, and it gets more compliments than any car ive ever owned.

Magnificent Vehicle

I just love my Hyundai Ionic 5! The ride is so smooth, quiet and comfortable. The amenities are so plentiful that even after having her for 3 months I STILL haven’t experienced everything she has to offer. Everyone on the street stops to ask about her. The fact that she is ALL electric makes me sooo happy!
