Great EV, good value.

IONIC 5 is fast, comfortable and quiet. Fun to drive with lots of great safety features! Hyundai has done a great job with this first generation IONIC 5 (2023). I like the SEL, Limited was not available when I purchased.

Love the EV

This Hyundai Ioniq 5 has surpassed all my expectations so far. I get lots of compliments on the styling. I love the performance of the motor. I have had it on the interstate as well as local roads and it handles perfectly. I am very happy with my decision to purchase this EV.

Never stopped at a gas station again...

And lived happily ever after. The Ioniq 5 is everything you expect from EV offerings this year, but is missing a couple items you might have come to expect from any vehicle: a rear windshield wiper and auto setting for the wipers. Otherwise this is an amazing vehicle to own and fun to drive. The acceleration in the 4WD is like jumping to hyperspace. The interior is as quiet and comfortable as much more expensive cars. The outside styling is a matter of taste, but does attract attention so take that as you like. -Very Happy Customer

Amazing car

It was too expensive for what we want to pay, but we really wanted an EV. This car has been a pleasure, the best car I've ever driven or owned. We have only experienced one negative so far and that is that the range is typical of current EVs, getting around 250 to 300 miles for a full charge. This is really only a problem because fast charger infrastructure is still being built out. One day, when there are chargers everywhere, I will consider the car flawless.

Great car just visually quirky

Great vehicle just a design you either love or hate. Not for everyone. Very roomy with amazing viewing limited blind spots. Quiet and smooth. Just the exterior and interior design will not be for all as it appears the 80s were pulled into the 2020s design studio.

The best

Its a beauty and its all electric! Eco friendly . Outside and inside is exceptionally beautiful the drive is smooth, speed is fast. Downfall is that it can't go very far traveling wise for example from Chicago to to Wisconsin the mileage is very low hopefully that will change. Price was too high and there was no tax break.

Quality

Excellent quality vehicle. The transition from gas to electric vehicle was fairly easy. The cost was well worth the price of the vehicle. Would recommend to anyone. Features are easily accessible once you are familiar with the design.

Great EV, Great Car

Very stylish on the outside, very techy on the inside. An EV that can be as sporty or eco as you want. Very good displays on how your driving is impacting your battery drain. Do some research on DC fast charging - the Ioniq 5 get you to 80% in less than 20 minutes.

Love the Ioniq 5 so much I bought a second

This is our second Ioniq 5. Our first is an SE and second is SEL. We are big fans and love driving electric. This car is luxurious for the price. Charging is easy and we liked that it came with free DC fast charging for two years

Very good vehicle, as expected.

I like the Ioniq 5 very much. It seems to be everything I expected. I feel that I received true value when I bought this vehicle. The only problem I have with the vehicle is that it doesn’t have a rear window wiper, I feel it should have one.

fun & fast

During the test drive I was impressed with how quiet it is and how well it handled. There is plenty of leg room and the height is comfortable for me (6 ft tall). The cargo space is limited by the sloped hatchback, but that the price you pay for the sleek exterior design.

Love everything about this car — except for the way too shiny haptic buttons on the dash and steering wheel.

If you can find a way to charge a car at home, this and the Kia EV6 are, hands down, the best every-day cars on the market. Heads and shoulders better than any other reasonably-priced EVs. And, after you have driven one of these for while, traditional ICE cars just seem hopelessly crude and dated. Ioniq 5 is the best family car. EV6 is a more sporting car.

The ioniq 5 is a great vehicle. It saves on gas. I love the look and all the bells and whistles. The rise is smooth. But the space ship look is what peeked my interest in getting one. It’s a keeper.

i love the ride quality and the styling of the car. the heads up display is wonderful to have. and the acceleration is very good. i wish if it has more range. i would remoand this over a tesla model 3.

Best electric car for the money

I have really enjoyed my Hyundai IONIC 5 for this last year. The pro's: Never having to go to fill up. I installed a 220 charger in my garage and just plug it in when the battery gets below 50%. No oil changes necessary, minimal upkeep requirements. Loads of features and ease of use. Cons: While it is rated at 306 miles per charge, it normally doesn't get that. In the Spring and Fall it gets better because you don't have to use AC or heat as much. That is the biggest drains on mileage. It isn't a big deal because I don't normally drive 300+ miles at a time. I am retired and tend to drive more than I did when I was working. But most of my driving is in and around town. When we go on extended trips I take my other vehicle. I could take this one but if you are planning a cross country trip, it would require a bit more planning to ensure you have charging capabilities along the way. But 99% of my driving is in town where I live and this is the perfect vehicle for this type of use.

Love my car

I am a committed electric car driver and have owned three different e cars since 2016. I would never consider a Tesla. The Ionic 5 has exceeded my expectations in every way. It’s quality, reliability and charging platform is best in class in my book. I’m so glad I made the decision to get my Ionic 5.

Amazing electric SUV

Overall a very wonderful car to drive. I love all the interior features and the huge sunroof. Glad to not be burning fossil fuels while driving and handles exceptionally well in the snow. Surprised and disappointed there is no rear windshield wiper.
