Excellent Entry Level EV

This is a comfortable, efficient and peppy vehicle. Nice and roomy seating, easy to drive and operate, and great range. As a first time EV buyer, I found this vehicle to be easy to adjust to, once I learned how to charge it in the community and had a level two charger installed at home.

Hyundai EV Issue

Great vehicle. Did struggle at first w the BMS error codes. Only found in very few Hyundai EVs. Repairs with this can take quite some time.

Why haven't we had cars like this for years? It drives great and uses no gas. I plug it in when I get home from work and it's ready to go the next morning.

Overall Happy

I like it and happy with the choice. No real issues and I really like that it is electric. I just wish when fully charged it went further. Like 350 miles on a full charge.

Kona, a first EV

As a first time buyer of an EV, the Kona has been a good experience. Performance is outstanding, acceleration exceeds all expectations and handling is no different than any other car I have driven. Charging has not been a problem for us since we can charge at home with a Level 2 PV powered charger. The most significant learning challenge has been the shifter located on the steering column. We still look for a shift handle on the console and sometimes touch the wiper control by mistake.

Perfect Town Car

We purchased our 2025 Kona EV as a practical "second car" for shopping, errands and short trips in our metropolitan area. It has not disappointed us in that role. With a home Level 2 charger it is economical and since it is used for mainly for local driving there are no "Range Anxiety" issues. As a small SUV it has plenty of interior space but small enough to do well in heavy traffic and congestion. With the Hyundai 5 year 60K new car warranty it is an exceptional value.

Love not stopping at the gas station!

We've loved our Kona electric. The ride is smooth and the data it gives you is wonderful. The technology component isn't as intuitive as other cars we've purchased recently. Why isn't there a trunk release in the cabin?

Good value for EV

Excellent EV for price. It does not have certain things that were in my gas Honda HRV such as blind spot camera, more comfortable seats and heated seats. But the HRV did not have EV model so that trumps the rest.
