Room for improvement

I traded in my 2021 Tucson for the Santa Fe and it is has been a little disappointing. The cruise control won’t work if I have sunglasses on, the ride is not as smooth, and gear shift is not intuitive or logical.

Incredible family vehicle with premium comfort.

This is our second Hyundai and we love it. The new look is beautiful and gets attention from near and far. The tech and new screen makes everything easy to use and helps the overall driving experience. The seats are incredibly comfortable and roomy. We have two kids and trips are no longer a thing to be feared. The ride is very smooth and quiet and the turning is responsive. Creature comforts abound throughout the vehicle so the kids can actually be engaged and quiet on trips to the market. We simply can't say how much we love it.

Great vehicle, smooth drive

Overall, the Santa Fe Hybrid is great. The safety features are overly sensitive and there are a few things I wish I could change about the sensitivity of them. You can only use cruise control with the automatic vehicle distance feature, and if you are wearing too dark of sunglasses the cruise control shuts off because it can't see your face. That was very frustrating. Also, I live on a back county road that has a lot of pot holes so I drive carefully around them to not damage my tires, I am constantly getting the "you might need to take a break" warning. There is no way to shut this off and it is more distracting than my driving around pot holes!

Santa Fe

The only problem we have with car is the display area for air conditioning, seat warmers etc. This area is very difficult to see during the day hours especially if you’re wearing polarized glasses. It is a very bad design.
