Overall my Hyundai has been fully meeting my expectations

The Hyundai Santa Fe gives is a very good and comfortable vehicle. The only major oversight is no spare tire. I had to purchase the hoist, spare tire and have it installed myself. In Texas, a spare is a very much needed accessory.

Was excited till it broke down twice in less than 2 weeks!

The first week I had the car the transmission blew and was in the shop. Then it was fixed and then broke down on the freeway by coming to a stop unable to drive. It stayed in the shop for over a month with less than 700 miles on it! Since I have had it back, so far it has been ok. I hope it continues to be good. I did so much research on this car and was so excited to get it and then I was so disappointed when it continuously gave me issues.

Nice but....

I like the suv but when I bought the top of the line model, I expected more. It has a screw gas cap instead of capless. The radio does not show song and artist with jumping through hoops and doesn't stay on that screen. For women. It doesn't have a great spot for your purse. It is not quite reaching the listed gas mileage but definitely does over 30 mpg. Comfy seats that are ventilated. It would have been nice if it came with windows tinted and uv protected. Otherwise I really like this car and it is comfortable ride. Just expected more for the top model.

Purchased it January 4, 2025. It’s third trip into the Hyundai shop

Service department could not fix the brand new vehicle. I’ve been waiting on Pohanka Hyundai to replace my existing vehicle since Hyundai Corp. approved it on June 26.

drives and rides very comfortably

some of the features on the radio have not been as easy to operate . you can't get the radio to give you the artist and title of the song being played . it will give you the opportunity to use the feature sometimes and sometimes it won't. sometimes it will take it off for no reason. other than that everything is really nice about the car

The good and the bad (not so bad)

Having driven this vehicle for 3 months, I can agree with Consumer Report that it places itself in the top tier of its category. Slowly I am getting myself removed from the apprehension of possibly making a bad choice considering past models' engine problems.

The vehicle was great until about 2 months, now in the shop ever since

I liked this car and was able to drive it for the first two 1/2 months. Then it had a shifter malfunction occur where it would get stuck in the gear and not let me shift to any other gear or turn the car off. Been at the dealership getting work done on it for almost 2 months now. Dealership techs tried 3 different parts which didn’t fix the issue. Now having to replace the whole transmission, which they still don’t know if that will even fix the issue. Still not fixed, still can’t drive it. Been in the shop for half the time I’ve owned it.

Great Car

The only problem is it needs work on the program for keeping your eyes on the road, I have it on and i am looking at the road and it keeps going off , if i have cruise control on it turns it off and drops my speed that has almost caused me to get rear ended many times because i am on the freeway.I have a running joke that it must want me to get out and put my eyes on the road, because looking at it doesn't work good enough.
