Already having failures on the fancy tech

In less than 2 months, the left turn camera stopped working; the auto brights often stops working. Your cruise control with the auto stop and slow is dangerously flawed. The car will often go barreling down on stopped traffick then hard brake and always stops almost on the other cars bumper. The safe distance should allow me to see the tires of lead behicle. If I am rearended, I will hit them.

Disappointed - Santa Fe Limited Hybrid purchased March 2025

Concerned why Hyundai has not offered to buy back my Santa Fe. The vehicle is currently at the dealership awaiting the 3rd transmission. The first transmission was replaced with just under 500 miles. Even then I was concerned about since the reviews I read showed the transmission was an issue. I went to the dealership 3 weeks ago and was just told they have to replace the transmission again. How am I suppose to feel good about taking my family on cross country trips which was the whole reason I purchased the vehicle. At this point I feel the car is junk. I purchased 2 vehicles at the same time. Over $100K. The Tucson Hybrid has been great, but Hyundai needs to make this right, purchase the vehicle back and start over. Note the dealership has had my vehicle for over 5 weeks since I purchased it, oh and I was told that the transmissions might be on back order. Really? Your move Hyundai! Before I make my next. Great vehicle for a family.

We bought our Santa Fe four months ago and it has been great so far. Quiet, comfortable, and reasonably efficient. The hybrid system is very quiet and smooth. The connectivity and ability to control through the app is also a plus. We have only minor things we would change about the car. It doesn't accelerate quickly despite having 235 horsepower -- feels like a change to the software could improve that. The automatic climate control works well overall, but I wish it were "more automatic" like on our Toyota, which is a pure "set and forget" system. The driver assistance features are sometimes intrusive (especially the lane keeping assist), but that's relatively minor. There are a couple of fit and finish issues with the car (e.g., misaligned body panels, trim pieces coming off, etc.). Overall, we are very happy with the car.

Nice, Not Luxurious

Overall quality vehicle. Loads of bells and whistles backed with technology. Comfort is fine but not great. Seats could be softer and the functionality is odd in how to adjust it, what you can and can’t do while driving, stopped and parked. Convenience functions are not timed right like the seat moving back. Steering wheel adjustments are limited and even as a shorter person I hit my knees on the steering column.

Solid value

For the most part, I am pleased. AWD feels as strong as my Subaru was, which is saying a lot. Overall drive is great. There is some funky transitions shifting between gas/electric that are not smooth, but it's not a big deal for me. Interior is great, except it is not cleaning properly. Even after cleaning, there are splotches that I can't get to go away and that is very disappointing on a new car. I would nix the sanitizer. The only other thing is improving the sunroof noise. It is too loud ot have open on the freeway and I generally have to role down another window to keep from getting that wind tunnel sound. Also, the unlocking software is going a bit haywire and I need to have that looked at.

We love it. This is our third Hyundai, and we think it is the best.

There isn’t much that we don’t like with our Santa Fe. This is our first electric vehicle and we have found the hybrid to be a perfect compromise. We are getting 34 mpg, and if we stay below 35 mph in our town we can pretty much drive in electric mode. The vehicle is sharp looking, and we get a lot of compliments. The interior is very attractive and the combination of Hampton Grey and Beige interior is visually attractive. The only thing that we feel might be improved is the engine torque or pickup. It would nice to have it a bit “peppier”.

Love this SUV!

The vehicle is heavy and powerful, and you feel safe. It is very comfortable and quiet. I love all the features we have tried, but there are so many I need to investigate more. The cooling works great; have not had a chance to check out the heating. Like all cars it has a blind spot, but the warnings and cameras are accurate. If you've driven an older car, it takes time to use these effectively, but they are there. It has plenty of room to carry a total of 4 passengers, with one in a car seat and lots of luggage including a stroller. Without all of those things we would fit comfortably 6 people and still have some room to other things, not including that you still have a luggage rack that is easily accessible.

35 MPH SINCE WE DROVE IT THE 1ST TIME

Generally, very pleased with it. Still haven't figured how to use all of the features. Never got the fingerprint sensor to function properly.
