Hyundai lover

This is the first Hyundai vehicle we have owned, and so far everything about it has been wonderful! The Santa Fe Hybrid is very comfortable to drive and ride in, and the gas mileage can't be beat!

Makes my day to drive my Santa Fe!

The design black and white is out of sight! A twice a month fill is such a thrill! The Carmel leather inside makes for a comfy ride. The leg room in every row makes for many a happy tow. The Patrick dealer way always makes my day!

First Hyundai

At first, everything seems great. Lots of new features to learn after owning a 2016 vehicle. The downside is there are features I cannot turn off. The easy-out is nice but sometimes I would just like it to stop. I avoid opening my door if I'm not intending to drive, just so my seat doesn't move back and forth an extra time. I also hate the adaptive cruise. It has it's uses but I would like to have the option to turn it off. I also tried having text message alerts from my iPhone but all the salesman and I could figure out to do was automatically read every one that comes through. I love having a hybrid but each time I start driving in the morning, its like it's not quite sure if it wants to be running on the engine or electric for about 30 seconds then gets moving normally. I was surprised the first time I locked the windows when my kids were messing around that they then could not exit the vehicle. I don't like that the window lock is also the child lock for the doors. This needs to be separate. My biggest concern is the automatic liftgate. I turned on the feature that opens when you are standing behind the vehicle for a few seconds. I parked my car at work one day and backed up to a wall. I briefly checked from the side of the car, never walking behind it, and decided it was close but I would not need to open it today. A couple minutes later when I was at my desk, my phone alerted me that my liftgate was open. I hurried outside and found that it was open and had hit the wall, causing a small scratch. I am still working with my local body shop and Hyundai Customer Service to have this repaired. I can no longer trust this feature and have turned it off permanently.

I like it, am still getting used to it. I wish I loved it but I do like it. It has some great features and yet there are things that need to be worked on.

26 santa fe

Vehicle steering wants to like tighten up and wants to control my driving, the lil green car like square starts flashing like im over the painted lines on road and im checking my mirrows and no way im over any lines on either side. It feels dangerous & then the stupid lil (do you need a cup of coffee) comes on also while driving in the center of the lanes.

Luxury without the price

The 2026 hybrid AWD Santa Fe is a dream. Our previous SUV was also a Santa Fe (2016). We never had any issues with it. My only complaint was road noise and cabin room once we put in a rear facing car seat for a grandson. My husband is 6’4 so I was always in the passenger seat and my knees were literally up against the dash. We looked at several SUVs including luxury brands like Lexus and Infinity. To get what we wanted size and package wise, we were looking at close to 90K. So we decided to drive the Santa Fe we ended up buying. It has very little road noise, plenty of cabin room once, and luxury features. And you can’t beat the warranty. 100K miles or 10 years on engine, transmission and drive train. We purchased additional coverage for bumper to bumper for the same amount of time. The vehicle is literally a computer and we figured the extra coverage was worth it. And then there’s the gas mileage! I didn’t want an electric vehicle but a hybrid. We get anywhere from 30mpg in town and up to 40mpg on the highway. I am thrilled with this vehicle and would highly recommend it!

2026 Hyundai Santa Fe hybrid review

Common sense vehicle, boring to drive but gets you around. Uncomfortable seats for moderate to long trips. Too much bolstering for older people to get over when entering vehicle, or just sitting in. This isn't a performance vehicle; they need comfortable seats(we're not pulling 9G's in a turn or anything). Good build quality, no surprises over the first 3,000 miles. Mileage ranges from 35-39 mpg.
