Gas mileage , Hard seats

In this day and age mileage should be 28-30 mpg, not in the 22 .mpg. Front seats too hard for 5-6 hour drives-Soften up!!.

My Sante Fe XL AWD is pretty great.

Great for regular use, not as great for towing a 4,000 lb camper. I have no complaints about driving around town or on long trips. I worry a bit that I'm beating up the engine and drivetrain when hauling our RV especially in hilly areas.

Overall, great family car

Love my Santa Fe XL! It rides/drives smooth and is roomy. Second row seats are adjustable, as allowing the third row to accommodate adults easier. My only complaint is there are no top tethers for car seats in the third row (in the models with a bench seat in the middle) and this severely limits where you can place car seats.

2019 Hyundai Santa Fe Ultimate

Like the car, the 6 cylinder engine is good. The ultimate should have all the options include but mine doesn't have auto windshield wipers. Do not like the front wheel drive at all. Mileage is decent and I like the idea or Regular gasoline. Dealer is good.

Good vehicle

We have had a mostly good experience driving this. The only problem is that the rear gate closes automatically after being fully opened. It will close right when you are standing there putting things away. I have taken it to be fixed twice now and it still closes without warning. Safety issue IMO

steering loose, headlights are too dim . Fog lights should be standard. Interior quality is about average. side mirror obstructing view on making left turn. Drive train is more improved. Interior quality is about average.

Towing

One of the main reasons I purchased t his vehicle was towing capacity. Now I read in the handbook you need an additional trailer brake set up and the dealer/ Hyundai does not offer it. So I am forced to go after market. If I even decide to keep it now.

2019 Hyundai Santa Fe XL

I do not find my car very comfortable. Number one, it is difficult getting in and out without totally rearranging the seat. The overall space in the front is extremely limited. The storage space wasn't designed well. It claims to have three row seating, well that is an exaggeration, since only a very young child could possibly get to the third row. There is also the matter of safety for getting a child out in an emergency.
