Veloster n

Fun , fast, obnoxious, everything a car enthusiast enjoys in a great priced turbo hatchback one of the best cars I’ve owned out of my 9 cars I’ve purchased new over the past years. This one’s a keeper many others I’ve enjoyed and found different things to love but the veloster n is by far my favorite. It is the first Hyundai I’ve purchased and so far from the brand it has won me over for sure. I work for another brand as an advisor and quality and enjoyment is a big deal for me this hits every point for me.

Phenomenal Car

Car is exactly what I wanted, sporty, fast, fun, yet practical. The sounds are amazing, styling is great, overall recommend the car to anyone looking for a hot hatch. My only complaint are the interior lighting and stitching on the steering wheel. The lights are LED but the lights under the sun visor are halogen, 2 different colors of lighting. The steering wheel stitching had stray fibers but I was able to clean them up easily. Otherwise no complaints, never any issues with 12k on the car. Overall worth it

Research is key

I researched everything I could before purchasing. The car is amazing and has few cons. If the paint lasted longer and the vehicle came with a full size spare, I would give it a full ten star review. I love my type N.

I pulled more bitches in the past year cuz of this car than I ever did in my life!!! 47 and counting. You think I'm full of shit? Buy it and see for yourself, you will be glad uDID! THIS THING WILL KILL YOU IF YOU DONT KNOW HOW TO COUNTER STEER TO HOLD A DRIFT, DONT KNOW HOW TO USE THE "SCANDINAVIAN FLIX" AND/ OR DONT KNOW WHAT LIFT OFF OVER STEER IS.

Amazing car both to look at and to drive! It’s very quick, handles excellently, and the exhaust sounds amazing! Simply I wish they had taken a bit more time on the smaller details and offered more features in the United States.

Fun to drive hot hatch

Very fun to drive. Good acceleration and handling with solid practicality. Exhaust sound has great tone and the cracks and pops are great. Valve exhaust is great when you want a quieter experience. Better smartphone integration would have been appreciated

QUIRKY FUN!

Absolute riot to drive! Tiny but packs a punch! The customization is really nice and changes vehicle's character with a simple button push. Acceleration and handling are very nice. Exhaust note is just amazing for stock.

I have had my Veloster N for a year. For the money, it’s difficult to find performance, space, and fuel economy in such a good package. This car is very reminiscent of how BMW’s used to be. Any of the N series of cars would be an excellent choice

Car is fun to drive not to comfortable

I enjoy the car but the interior quality is extremely lacking compared to some other models that Hyundai makes. As well as being sort of outdated in the technology department with it's analog dash and limited features.

Excellent Hot Hatchback

The N is an excellent hot hatchback, extremely quick acceleration, very precise handling and the exhaust sounds fantastic! Just sorry to hear that the VN will no longer be produced after 2022, sad indeed.

No other vehicle like it - THE Veloster N (RIP)

If you are reading this, you already know that USA does not care very much about hatchbacks or the "Hot Hatch" style like the rest of the world. As such, the Veloster N is no longer being produced. We mostly buy pickup trucks and SUVS. Getting an actual manual transmission is also becoming harder to find in new cars (but the DCT is faster). If you have any interest in hatchbacks and cornering feel for a reasonable price = this is your car. The turbo charged engine and adjustable exhaust sealed the deal for me. It is unique in appearance, funky (a 3-door) and different = not everyone's cup of tea and not likely to be seeing tons of these on the road. Get one while you can and enjoy a truly golden age of driving that may not be around for much longer. So much today isolates and insulates. This is much more engaging, raw and real. Kona N and Elantra N are now the only comparable vehicles (replacement) to the Veloster N.

Fun and Easy to drive!

This vehicle is fun sporty and has a decent aftermarket for customization. Pops and Bangs always put a smile on your face! It always fun to toss into the corners. The compliments on the performance blue paint are nice as I love the color myself.

Fantastic horsepower per dollar

The Veloster N is the God-King of the underdogs. Everyone wants to hate it but time and time again it proves it's the better car. This may be the last true drivers car the runs on pump gas, and that makes me sad. Keep car culture alive folks!

Fun car to drive great gas mileage when driven on the highway, Hatchback design, I can fit my bike in the back with the back seats folded down. The stereo sound is very good, Handling and cornering is excellent. Brakes are very good.

Great fun car

Too bad they discontinue the veloster . But overall I would recommend the car for the price and options . Great styling and bang for your bucks on performance. Easy maintenance. I would recommend replacing original tires with more cushion.

On the track, the commute, running errands, or going to car shows I've loved this car from day 1. Modding and servicing the car myself has been fun and made me a better, more attentive driver. Long live the hot hatch!

Fun to drive and looks great

I first saw a Veloster several years earlier and waited almost too long, since they just stopped making the N version. DCT so my wife can drive at times. My first 'performance' car. I changed to 18" wheels to get a bit better ride. A bit more of some sound insulation would be nice and I wish I could have gotten heated seats and steering wheel.
