GL 320 diesel

Great vehicles until you have to have mechanical work done. They are expensive to repair and complicated. Not for the average mechanic and certainly not the do it yourself person. Timeless styling and spacious interior.

Luxury Family Hauler

There is no better large SUV to haul 7 people around in than the Mercedes GL 450. Heated seats, air ride, one button to fold down 3rd row seats, and all wheel drive for rainy or snowy days. It is of course built very well but when you do take it to the shop be prepared to pay more than you would for an American or Asian in class competitor.

Good family car

Although i've had the car for 10 years, i have only put 81,000 miles on it. I had to replace the front struts because it started to leak air. Overall, no other major problems. I'm still confident to take longer trips with it and not worry about stalling. Just make sure you do the recommended maintrnance like any other car.

GOOD VEHICLE

it's a heavy vehicle so if you don't like spending much money on gas you should read the gas milage before you purchase. Overall other than that it's a great. It's heavy, rides smooth, and it's a benz so kind of dependable. I am not to crazy about electronics in general, but it has all the features that you need if you a techy person. Navigation system its very good, keyless entry, keyless start, plenty of room for the whole family and more, 7 seats really work good with family with small children. Its one of the safest vehicles on the road and with the weight and the airbags system, well, it's definitely my choice of vegicle for a road trip with my young children, considering safety first. As I say gas milage is not that great, but safety is my concern so I deal with the gas. Service to a good service place as I have Pardos in west chester is good, if you choose the dealership it might be expensive, so if you decide to buy this car, find a good local mechanic/ service center.
