No bells and whistles (yay!), REALLY poor gas mileage (boo!)
For the price, you won't beat this truck. It is sturdy, well constructed and I expect it to last a long time. It has none of the safety bells and whistles (lane change, blind side, etc) that my wife's new car has, but that's fine with me. It has enough new features including navigation that I need to make my trips comfy and convenient. I have the 5' bed model - will hold a bicycle if you fold it just right! Here's a trick: for $60 bucks I got a steel "extention" that plugs into the hitch receiver and extends the bed for hauling longer lumber. Handy.
Here's the negative: The backup camera beeps when you're too close to something, but it is extraordinarly nervous and beeps at just about everything - it DOES have a switch to turn it off. The only negative that I really DO care about is the atrocious gas mileage. I'm talking about 1970's big-block Ford gas mileage - maybe 15 MPG or so around town. It has adequate power, but the engine isn't all that big, it has all the 21st Century computer control stuff, fuel injection and all that, but the mileage just doesn't stack up. Go figure.
Summary, I love the truck - comfy, quiet and plenty of towing power (small boat) - I don't love burning so much fuel.
