battery life

I purchased this vehicle second hand and while still within warranty, the battery lost 3 bars, so Nissan replaced the battery. Since replacing it, it has lost another 3 bars, and it's out of warranty now. While I used to complete 2 round trips of ~35 miles on a single charge, I can only complete 1 round trip and some short trips not far from home. Good thing I have a back-up gas vehicle.

Nissan leaf

Love it. Good pickup. Great air conditioning. Great stereo and navigation. Smooth ride and handling. Expensive battery replacement approximately $6,000 is the only drawback. Backup camera could be better.

Love Our Leaf

We bought our Nissan Leaf in Feb, 2012 as our first EV. We still love it--no gas, no oil, no exhaust! We just bought our second EV this week, but got a Tesla Model X instead because we tripled our range of mileage per charge. Our Leaf is perfect as our commuter car, and we just take the X on longer trips. Thank you Nissan for having the Leaf available early. We've saved lots of money these past years.

Good fit!

Perfect for the amount of commuting, and shopping we do! We love the lack of maintenance compared to internal combustion vehicles.
